Obverse description Diademed and draped bust of Empress Salonina (Cornelia Salonina Augusta), wife of Gallienus, facing right and set upon a crescent. The effigy is rendered in the provincial style typical of Thessalian Koinon coinage, with the diadem and drapery visible across the shoulder. The circular Greek legend surrounds the portrait in the field. The flan is somewhat irregular, as characteristic of mid-third-century provincial bronze issues.
