Obverse description Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, seen from the rear, with the spiky radiate crown clearly rendered in relief. The portrait exhibits the characteristic provincial style of mid-third-century Thessalian coinage, with broad facial features and a short beard. A partial legend runs along the upper and right field of the obverse. The flan shows characteristic irregularity and dark brown patina consistent with struck provincial bronze.
