| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, depicted from the rear in three-quarter view. The emperor's radiate wreath and paludamentum are rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Alexandrian Troas coinage. The surrounding Latin legend is distributed around the periphery of the flan. The portrait, though worn, retains the characteristic features of Gallienic imperial iconography as struck at this colonial mint. |
