| Obverse description | Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, rendered in three-quarter rear view, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder and the cuirass articulated in relief. The portrait exhibits the characteristic stylistic conventions of provincial bronze coinage from the Troas, with a bearded effigy and bold, slightly crude engraving typical of the Alexandrian Troas mint. The encircling legend reads IMP LIC(IN)I GALLIENVS in Latin characters around the periphery of the flan. |
