Obverse lettering IMP VALERIANVS P F AVG
Reverse description The Genius of the colony stands frontally, head turned to the left, rendered in the provincial Roman style characteristic of Mysian civic coinage. In his right hand he holds a statuette of Victory, and in his left a cornucopia, symbols of abundance and triumph. To the left of the figure, a small altar is depicted at ground level. The abbreviated civic legend of Parium — Colonia Gemella Iulia Hadriana Pariana — appears distributed in the field around the central device, enclosed within a dotted border.
