Decorative fillets or garlands hang to the left and right sides of the altar, characteristic of sacred cult furniture associated with Zeus. The design occupies the majority of the flan, with the inscription placed in the exergue below. The rendering is bold and well-centred, typical of Bithynian koinon bronzes struck under Trajan. |
