The portrait is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Phrygian civic coinage of the mid-third century. A Greek legend surrounds the bust, reading ΜΕϹϹΙΟϹ ΚΥΙΝΤΟϹ Κ, identifying the prince by his dynastic name. A dotted border frames the design. |
