| Obverse description | Draped and turreted bust of Tyche facing right, wearing a mural crown, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of the Severan period. The bust is presented with drapery visible at the shoulder. The Greek legend ΜΑΓΝΗϹΙΑ curves around the field, identifying the city of Magnesia ad Sipylum. The flan is irregular and the surfaces are heavily patinated, consistent with a provincially struck bronze issue. |
