She holds a tall sceptre in her left hand and ears of corn in her right hand, emblems of her divine attributes and of Sardis's agricultural prosperity. The circular Greek legend surrounding the field identifies the city and its twice-neocorate status. The heavily corroded bronze flan obscures fine detail but the standing figure and principal attributes remain identifiable. |
