Reverse description Hygieia, the goddess of health, stands to the right, extending a patera from which she feeds a serpent coiling upward before her. Facing her, Asclepius stands to the left, leaning on his serpent-entwined staff. Between the two deities, the diminutive figure of Telesphorus stands frontally, cloaked in his characteristic hooded garment. The composition, a triad of healing divinities, reflects the strong cultic associations common to Phrygian civic coinage. The Greek ethnic legend of the Otrians is inscribed around the reverse field.
