| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate and cuirassed bust of Geta facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic three-quarter back view typical of provincial Roman coinage. The emperor's portrait shows careful attention to the military paludamentum and segmented cuirass, rendered in the provincial workshop style of the Ephesian conventus. The Greek legend encircles the portrait field, identifying the ruler by his imperial titulature. The flan is irregular in shape with some edge flattening, consistent with hand-struck provincial bronzes of the Severan period. |
