| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, portrayed three-quarter from the rear in the characteristic provincial style. The effigy displays the emperor's youthful features with finely rendered paludamentum folds visible at the shoulder. The obverse legend is disposed around the bust in Greek characters. The die workmanship reflects the provincial mint style typical of Phrygian civic coinage of the Severan period. |
