Obverse description Draped bust of Otacilia Severa facing right, wearing a stephane and diadem, her hair elaborately arranged in waves drawn back to a bun. The effigy is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of the Ionian mint of Erythrae. The Greek legend encircles the portrait in the field, identifying the empress by her abbreviated titulature.
