Obverse description Bare head of the emperor Nero facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Asia Minor civic coinage. The portrait is unadorned, without laurel wreath or diadem, presenting the youthful imperial effigy. The circumferential legend in Greek characters surrounds the bust within the field. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show heavy patination consistent with the coin's age and provincial origin.
