| Obverse description | Bare-headed, cuirassed bust of Diadumenian facing right, depicted in three-quarter frontal view with youthful features. The legend Κ ΔΙΑΔΟΥΜΕΝΙΑΝΟϹ runs around the periphery, with the numeral Β (denoting a secondary denomination or regnal reference) in the field. The portrait displays the characteristic short-cropped hair of Diadumenian, rendered in the provincial die-cutting style typical of Bithynian civic coinage. A perforation hole is visible in the right field, indicating later use as a pendant or mount. The flan shows characteristic green patination with areas of earthen encrustation. |
