| 裏面の説明 | The syncretic deity Amon-Ra/Zeus depicted standing, facing, with head turned to the right. The figure is bearded and semi-nude, crowned with a solar disk, the attribute of Amon-Ra as assimilated with the Greek Zeus. In his right hand he holds a long sceptre, while his left hand supports a ram, also directed to the right, alluding to the ram-headed form of Amon. The reverse legend identifies the Diopolite Inferior nome and the regnal year. This iconography is characteristic of nome coinage struck at Alexandria for the Diopolite Inferior nome under Hadrian. |
