Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Emperor Gallienus facing right, with drapery visible on the left shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Mysian civic coinage of the mid-third century AD. The circular Greek legend runs around the periphery of the flan. The coin exhibits a heavy green patina consistent with long-term burial, and the flan is irregular in shape as typical of hammered provincial bronzes of this period.
