| Obverse description | Laureate, draped bust of Emperor Gallienus facing right, with drapery visible on the left shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Mysian civic coinage of the mid-third century AD. The circular Greek legend runs around the periphery of the flan. The coin exhibits a heavy green patina consistent with long-term burial, and the flan is irregular in shape as typical of hammered provincial bronzes of this period. |
