| Obverse description | Draped bust of Athena facing right, wearing a crested Attic helmet. The portrait is rendered in a provincial style typical of mid-third-century Achaean civic coinage. The helmet crest and drapery folds are visible despite heavy patination. No legend appears on the obverse. |

| Reverse description | Panoramic view of the Athenian Acropolis as seen from the north and west, a rare and elaborate architectural type for provincial bronze coinage. At the right, the monumental steps ascending to the Propylaia are depicted, while to the left stands the colossal chryselephantine statue of Athena Promachos. The Erechtheion temple is rendered in the centre of the composition, and at the lower register the Cave of Pan is indicated beneath the rocky escarpment. The ethnic legend ΑΘΗΝΑΙΩΝ (of the Athenians) appears in the field. |
