Obverse description Turreted and draped bust of Tyche/Roma facing right, wearing a mural crown, rendered in the provincial style typical of Corinthian colonial coinage under the Julio-Claudian and early Flavian periods. The legend ROMAE ET IMPERIO encircles the effigy in Latin characters, dedicating the issue to Rome and to the Empire. The portrait is boldly struck but shows characteristic irregularity of the flan, consistent with hammered provincial bronze production.
