Obverse description Bare head of Heracles facing right, rendered in the local Boeotian provincial style, with characteristic coarse musculature and leonine features. The legend ΘΗΒΑΙΩΝ arcs around the field, identifying the issuing city of Thebes. A dotted border encircles the design.
