Reverse description Bare head of Augustus facing right, portrayed with idealised classical features in the manner of official Augustan portraiture adapted for provincial coinage. The legend of the two duovirs is distributed around the portrait in the field and periphery, partially legible due to a weak and slightly off-centre strike. The flan is broad but irregular, with a dark green patina and some surface porosity typical of bronze coins struck at Cnossus during the Augustan period.
