| Obverse description | Bare head of Augustus facing right, rendered in the idealized Hellenistic portrait tradition typical of Carian civic coinage of the Augustan period. The emperor's features are youthful and unadorned, without laurel wreath or diadem, consistent with the bare-headed iconography favored in early provincial issues. The portrait is set within a dotted border, visible along the upper periphery of the flan. No legend accompanies the portrait on this side. |
