Obverse description Bare head of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the typical provincial style of mid-2nd century Asia Minor. The imperial effigy is depicted without laurel wreath or diadem, consistent with standard bare-head portraiture for this emperor on provincial bronzes. The circular Greek legend is disposed around the portrait within a plain border, partially legible on this heavily patinated example.
