Obverse description Youthful draped bust of the personified Senate (ΙΕΡΑ ϹΥΝΚΛΗΤΟϹ) facing right, with flowing hair rendered in fine relief, wearing a draped garment across the shoulder. The portrait displays a youthful, idealized countenance consistent with the allegorical representation of the Roman Senate as employed on provincial bronze coinage of Lydia. The encircling legend ΙΕΡΑ ϹΥΝΚΛΗΤοϹ runs along the obverse field.
