| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Lydian mint workshops. The emperor's effigy displays a wreath of laurel leaves crowning his head, with paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The encircling Greek legend reads ΑΥΤο ΚΑΙϹΑΡ ΑΔΡΙΑ ΑΝΤΩΝΕΙΝΟϹ, distributed around the periphery of the flan. The portraiture, though somewhat worn, conveys the broad facial features and short beard associated with Antoninus Pius in his middle reign. |
