Obverse description Draped and cuirassed bust of Valerian II facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic provincial style. The effigy shows the emperor in military attire, with paludamentum folds visible at the shoulder. The surrounding Greek legend names the emperor in the nominative case. The flan is irregular and the surfaces carry a typical olive-green patina consistent with Ionian provincial bronze coinage of the mid-third century AD.
