Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gallienus facing right, depicted from behind, the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The emperor's effigy is rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Lydian civic coinage of the mid-third century AD. A partial Greek legend runs along the right field, partially obscured by the irregular flan. The portrait exhibits the typical features associated with Gallienus, including a short beard and radiate-style laureate crown.
