Obverse description Bare head of Tiberius facing right, rendered in low relief in the provincial Greek style. The portrait is unadorned, displaying close-cropped hair and a firm profile characteristic of Julio-Claudian imperial portraiture. The Greek legend ΚΑΙ ϹΑΡ (Caesar) is distributed around the effigy in the field, partially visible on both sides of the portrait. The flan is irregular in shape, as is typical of provincially struck bronzes of this period.
