| Obverse description | Laureate, cuirassed bust of Emperor Severus Alexander facing right, depicted from the front in three-quarter view. The imperial effigy is rendered in the provincial style typical of Phrygian civic coinage, with the laureate wreath clearly articulated atop the head. The surrounding field carries a Greek imperial titulature legend. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, characteristic of provincial hammered bronze issues of the Severan period. |
