Obverse description Draped bust of Dionysus facing right, wearing an ivy wreath adorned with berries and foliage, his hair rendered in loose curls. The deity is depicted in the Hellenistic tradition characteristic of Pontic civic coinage, with finely modelled drapery visible at the shoulder. The Greek date legend ΕΤ ϹΞϚ (year 266 of the Pontic era, corresponding to 234–235 AD) appears in the field.
