Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Geta as Caesar facing right, rendered in three-quarter rear view, a portrait convention characteristic of provincial bronze coinage of the Severan period. The obverse legend encircles the effigy, identifying the prince by his titles. The flan is irregular and the surfaces heavily worn, with details of the portrait largely obscured by patination and corrosion.
