Maeonia was a small inland settlement in Lydia whose civic coinage under Septimius Severus consistently names the magistrate responsible for the issue — here Herakleides, serving for the third time, as the ΤΟ Γ makes explicit. The repeated tenure suggests he held unusual local influence during the early Severan period, though the administrative machinery behind these provincial bronzes remained the Roman conventus headquartered at Sardis.
