| Obverse description | Draped bust of Julia Domna facing right, her hair elaborately waved and coiled at the nape in the characteristic Severan style. The effigy is rendered in relatively high relief typical of Ephesian provincial bronzes of this period. The Greek legend surrounds the bust, identifying her by name and title. The surface shows heavy patination consistent with prolonged circulation and burial. |

| Reverse description | Nike, the winged goddess of victory, advancing left in full stride, her body rendered in flowing drapery. She holds a wreath extended in her right hand and a long palm branch in her left, both attributes emblematic of victory and civic honour. The figure is depicted in the active, dynamic pose characteristic of Ephesian civic bronzes of the Severan era. The ethnic legend ΕΦΕϹΙΩΝ appears in the right field, identifying the issuing city. |
