| Obverse description | Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Geta facing right, rendered in three-quarter rear view, the drapery folds clearly articulated over the left shoulder. The obverse legend ΠΟ ΚΑΙ ΓΕΤΑϹ (Publius Caesar Geta) is disposed around the bust in Greek majuscule characters. The portraiture reflects the provincial workshops of the Pergamene conventus, with characteristic bold relief typical of early third-century Mysian bronzes. |
