Obverse description Draped and cuirassed bust of Geta as Caesar facing right, viewed from the rear, the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The portrait exhibits the youthful features characteristic of Geta's early imperial coinage. The obverse legend, partially preserved, reads Λ ϹΕΠ ΓΕΤΑϹ ΚΑΙ, identifying the subject as Lucius Septimius Geta. The flan is irregular and the strike somewhat weak, consistent with provincial workshop production.
