Obverse description Draped bust of Plautilla facing right, her hair elaborately coiffed and drawn back, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Phrygian civic coinage. The portrait is set within a circular field with the Greek legend disposed around the periphery. The bust terminates at the shoulder with visible drapery folds, befitting an Augusta of the Severan dynasty.
