Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Nero facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Phrygian civic coinage. The portrait displays the emperor's characteristic features with a wreath of laurel leaves encircling the head. The surrounding Greek legend reads ΝΕΡΩΝΑ ΚΑΙΣΑΡΑ ΠΡΥΜΝΗΣΣΕΙΣ, identifying the emperor and the issuing city of Prymnessus. A dotted border frames the design along the coin's inner edge.

Reverse description Dikaiosyne (personification of Justice) standing left in long chiton, holding a pair of scales in her lowered left hand and two ears of grain in her right hand. The figure is rendered in the schematic provincial style typical of Phrygian civic bronze coinage of the Neronian period. The Greek magistrate's inscription ΕΠΙ ΚΛΑΥΔΙΟΥ ΜΙΘΡΙΔΑΤΟΥ surrounds the figure, naming the local magistrate Claudius Mithridates under whose authority the coin was issued.
