| Obverse description | Bare laureate head of Emperor Nero facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Bithynian civic coinage. The portrait displays the characteristic features of Nero's mature effigy, with a laurel wreath encircling the head. The encircling Greek legend reads ΝΕΡΩΝ ΚΛΑΥΔΙΟΣ ΚΑΙΣΑΡ ΣΕΒΑΣΤΟΣ, distributed around the periphery of the field. The coin surface shows a dark olive-brown patina consistent with prolonged circulation. |
