Reverse description Standing figure of Dikaiosyne (personification of Justice) depicted full-length, facing left, clad in long chiton and himation rendered in fine drapery folds. She holds a pair of scales in her outstretched right hand and a cornucopia in her left arm, the attributes of justice and abundance respectively. The Greek civic legend of the Amastrians encircles the field, the alpha letters distinctively formed as lambdas, a known epigraphic peculiarity of this mint. The reverse is struck on an irregular flan with characteristic provincial workmanship.
