| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Commodus, lightly bearded, facing right, draped in cuirass and paludamentum, the figure viewed from the rear in the characteristic provincial portrait style. The imperial effigy is rendered in typical Mysian provincial workshop style, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. A Greek legend runs around the obverse field identifying the co-emperor. The flan is irregular and the relief somewhat worn, consistent with a small-denomination civic bronze issue. |
