Reverse description Apollo-Tyrimnaios, the principal civic deity of Thyatira, depicted standing left in full figure, clad in long chiton. The god holds a branch in his extended right hand and a double axe (labrys), the distinctive local cult attribute, in his left hand. The ethnic legend ΘΥΑΤΕΙΡΗΝΩΝ is distributed around the field, and the composition is framed by a dotted border, consistent with the civic bronze coinage of Thyatira during the Severan period.
