Reverse description Asclepius, the god of medicine, depicted standing facing with head turned to the left, draped in a himation, and supporting himself on the serpent-entwined staff (the rod of Asclepius) held in his right hand. The figure is rendered in the conventional civic iconographic tradition of Asia Minor, occupying the central field. The ethnic legend of the issuing city is distributed around the figure in the field.
