Obverse description Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Diadumenian to right, portrayed from behind, with the figure's back and paludamentum visible. The Greek legend is partially distributed around the periphery within a beaded border. The portrait exhibits the youthful features characteristic of Diadumenian, Caesar and co-emperor under Macrinus, rendered in the provincial die-cutting style typical of Mysian civic coinage.
