| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, with drapery visible on the left shoulder, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style. The effigy displays the characteristic bearded portrait of Hadrian, with a laurel wreath encircling the head. A circular Greek legend surrounds the bust within a beaded border. The flan is irregular, as is typical of hammered Alexandrian bronze coinage of the period. |
