Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, depicted from the rear, with the imperial mantle visible over the shoulder. The effigy is rendered in the typical provincial style of the Trajanic-Hadrianic period. A partial Latin legend runs along the periphery of the flan, reading NVS AVGVSTVS, representing the abbreviated imperial titulature. The flan is slightly irregular and the relief, though worn, retains the characteristic portrait style of Hadrian's provincial coinage.

Reverse description Draped bust of Sarapis facing right, wearing the distinctive modius (kalathos) atop his head, a hallmark of this Alexandrian deity. The rendering follows the standard iconographic tradition of Sarapis as adopted in Pontic provincial coinage, with the god's robes visible at the shoulder. The Latin colonial legend C I F S ANN CLXXV encircles the field, recording the colonial title of Sinope and the local era year 175. The workmanship is consistent with the hammered provincial bronze issues of the Roman colony at Sinope during the reign of Hadrian.
