Athribis was a nome in Lower Egypt whose coinage under Hadrian followed the Alexandrian prefectural system, with the regnal year indicator — L ΙΑ marking year 11, or 126/127 AD — serving as the primary dating mechanism rather than any consular or tribunician notation. Hadrian visited Egypt in 130 AD, a trip that left a documented administrative imprint on provincial bronze output, though nome coinage had been running continuously through his reign regardless.
