Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, wearing the paludamentum visible at the shoulder, the bust presented in three-quarter view from the front. The emperor's characteristic beard and curled hair are rendered in the Hadrianic portrait style typical of provincial coinage. The surrounding field carries a Latin legend, partially legible due to wear, identifying the emperor with his titles. The flan is irregular and the surfaces show heavy patination consistent with a hammered provincial issue.
