Reverse description Athena, helmeted and draped, standing left in a martial pose, extending a patera in her right hand and holding a spear and grounded shield in her left. The goddess is depicted in the Promachos tradition, a standard type for provincial Lydian civic coinage. The encircling Greek legend names the city and the presiding strategos, distributed around the field.
