| Obverse description | Bare laureate head of Emperor Claudius facing right, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of Asia Minor civic issues. The imperial effigy occupies the central field, with the Greek legend disposed around the periphery. The portrait, though worn, retains the characteristic broad facial features associated with Claudian coinage. The flan is irregular, as is common for provincial bronze issues of this period. |
