| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, depicted with youthful features consistent with his early co-reign period. A Greek legend surrounds the effigy along the periphery of the flan. The portrait is rendered in the provincial style typical of Thracian mint output, with visible paludamentum at the shoulder. The flan shows characteristic irregular striking of provincial bronze coinage. |

| Reverse description | A tall, tapering cult column or conical baetyl set on a stepped base, presented frontally within the field. This sacred object is associated with the principal deity venerated at Pautalia. The Greek legend OYΛΠΙAC ΠΑΥΤΑΛΙΑC, naming the city of Ulpia Pautalia, is distributed around the periphery. The composition is austere and hieratic, characteristic of the religious iconography employed on civic bronzes of Thracian Pautalia during the Severan period. |
